IRL and Online, my thoughts on bloggers and our online culture

I’m going to come out and say it; I’m not funny. Occasionally I make a good joke or I use sarcasm correctly, but neither online nor in the real world am I a comedian. But it doesn’t bother me because on here especially comedy isn’t what I specialise in.

And I think as a blogger I am a lot more one dimensional than I am in real life. In the WordPress community I’m that crazy feminist who writes love poetry, awful fiction series (for all of you who are waiting for part 5, it might be up tomorrow but I’m being one of those annoying writers who takes forever to write) and does photography sometimes. But in the real world I don’t stick to that template. I am a complete person with lots of interests and thoughts.

Essentially the point I am failing to make is that the person you see on here is very much a single section of me, and not all of me. I don’t do much personal stuff because it just isn’t my ‘thing’ on here. And I want you all to know that I appreciate your support for my troubled creative side more than you will ever know. 🙂

Thank you.
